The stunning 17 Feet long island is the protagonist of this super chic kitchen. This big island is ideal for entertaining, provides a comfortable working area and allows everyday seating for the family while contributing with good circulation and efficient use of the space.
This very contemporary look takes advantage of the amazing beauty of the natural stone "Tempest Blue quartzite" and the spectacular backsplash to create a conversational focal point that destiles style.
The color selection of the cabinets (SW 7015 Repose Gray and SW 7018 Dovetail) was purposely done to bring warmth to the kitchen while complementing the very modern oversize floor tile.
The light fixtures were selected to delineate the two different areas in the island.
the family room and the formal living room
The custom made family room media center was built with the same material as the kitchen cabinets allowing an harmonious transition between the two areas.
For the family formal living room area, a very modern chandelier sets the stage for the the fireplace wall. An impressive 48" by 110" opalescent back lighted glass slab was installed. The LED lights allows changes of color creating a fun and unexpected mood.
the Powder bathroom
Each bathroom of the house has a different personality.
In the powder bathroom, the striking blue glass sink was complemented with a 7" mitered countertop and with the combination of a metallic three dimensional tile and a blue artisan made porcelain tile that shows gold destellos.
In the master bathroom, the exuberance of the Volga blue large format porcelain tile used for the backsplash and the shower wall was combined with the subtleness of the grey tile to create a luxurious and inviting mood.
In the office bathroom, an architectural tile design was custom created to show the modern aspect of the house.
