About Andrea Canedo
Andrea Canedo was born and raised in Uruguay, within a family from Spain, and moved to the US 22 years ago. She currently resides in Clearwater, Florida with her family. Her multicultural background, together with her trips around the world have inspired her and contributed to develop her personal and distinctive sense of style, which she brings to each new project.
To enhance her natural sense of style, she pursued Interior Designer education from the New York Institute of Art and Design. After successfully completing several Interior Designer projects for residential clients, she decided to follow her dream and funded her own company, Andrea Canedo Design.
Andrea supplements her creative side with both Engineering and MBA degrees; she has over 19 years of experience as a Project Manager, and received outstanding performance awards at IBM and Eli Lilly for her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in completing multimillion dollars projects on time and on budget.
Organizational skills and a distinctive sense of style are tightly connected on Andrea’s new project, “Andrea Canedo Design”.
Andrea’s goal is to help her clients in making their own homes their favorite place on Earth: “A place with the right energy for each family member to recharge and thrive in life”. She believes a home needs to reflect their owners’ taste and personality. To this end, she focuses on room functionality based on family members needs and personalities, and on finding the right elements to build appealing and uncluttered environments.
Her appreciation for aesthetics, her creativity, imagination and ability for visualizing concepts enables Andrea to provide a unique value added service to her customers. Her diverse personal background allows her to communicate effectively across cultures and age groups, to better understand her clients’ goals and to pursue them towards a successful and appealing home.
