Livable luxury; my simple definition of this chic, sophisticated and comfortable house, in which each family member can express themselves
The kitchen is home to two islands - one with a work area featuring a sink and two dishwashers and another colossal one with a quartz waterfall countertop suitable for buffet like entertaining.
To contribute to the contemporary clean look, we used solid wood flat-panel doors and quartz for the countertops and backsplash.
We used the same quartz for the countertops and backsplash, which goes all the way to the ceiling. By using the same material we were able to give the illusion of two waterfalls, one created by the countertop-to-ceiling quartz backsplash, and the other seen in the big island's waterfall.
An Italian stainless steel LED light was installed over the main island. Its modern design complement the free standing hood, and the color harmonized with the stainless steel gourmet appliances.
For the informal dining area a square ash grey oak table was selected to complement the shape of the room. The red leather chairs provide a pop of color and energy, creating a comfortable area where family time can be spend while sharing meals.
A custom made barn door separates this room from the play-room.
The grey leather sectional provide ample space for watching TV. The striking modern art elevates the spirit of the room and the natural stone accent wall bring nature into the house.
A huge 9F tall pivot door welcomes visitors to this inviting social area.
The wine cellar and formal dining area showcase the customer's passion for natural, organic elements. The 14x4F glass-enclosed cellar has marble floors and a stone accent wall, with both floor and ceiling lights. The round soft shape of the wine racks is elegant and contemporary.
The dining area is warm and inviting, with a custom made exotic wood table that comfortably sits 10. An enormous bamboo wall art and a crystal chandelier that sparkles to cast colors around the room completes the ensemble.
The stair's steps are made of marble and wood. Each marble raise has a light that illuminates the path. When you reach the top of the stairs a magnificent glass chandelier frames the second floor.
Outside is a prime space for entertaining. The custom made table that seats 20 people, two lounge areas and a warm fireplace by the pool create a perfect space for enjoying long nights of conversation, and for sharing good food with family and friends.
While the soothing palette of the master bedroom suggest intimacy, the natural accents in the master bathroom create an oasis of relaxation.
The bathroom has a free standing bathtub with an adjacent natural stone wall and crystal chandelier. There are separate sink areas, a makeup vanity area and a big shower space.
In the closet, baroque inspired furniture that reinterprets the old Victorian era in a modern, creative way by using polymer as the upholstery material, the glass-spiked chandelier, the red rug, and the whimsical art contribute to bring the couple's fashion to life.
